Construction Manager

Square Nine Builder Inc. is looking for 1 Construction Manager. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 4710 Kingsway Burnaby, BC V5H 4M2

The job duties for this position will be:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget

• Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates

• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules

• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors

• Develop and implement quality control programs

• Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients

• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions

• Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Job Requirements:

• English is required as a language

• Minimum one year of experience in similar field is required

• Completion of high School is required

What we offer:

• $48.10 per hour

• 4% vacation pay
