Job Duties:
• Measure material using a framing square and measuring tape to lay work.
• Cut, shape, and smooth the needed material according to measurements.
• Inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance of wooden structures in a residential and non-residential areas.
• Read blueprints, project plans, and specifications; determine material needs, estimate cost, and prioritize tasks to minimize production delays.
• Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of the structure, using bolts, nails, or screws.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for clients & installation.
• Measure, cut, and place floor beams to support the flooring system.
• Oversee the work of other construction members and provide guidance as needed.
• Build & install scaffolding, door trims, and other construction structures.
• Install cabinets, counter & moldings.

Requirements:
• Completion of High School is required.
• Experience in the similar field is an asset.
