Job Posting: Tanker Truck Driver
Location: Oakville, ON
Wage: $25 - $28.50/hour
Number of Openings: 2
Responsibilities:
- Haul biosolids and other materials safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations while on duty.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing updates on delivery schedules and addressing any issues.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior drivers as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and promptly report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 3+ years of heavy haul experience
- 3+ years of AZ/ Driving experience
- 6 months - 1 year of Tanker experience
- Ability to drive 18-speed manual & automatic transmission
- Ability to get in and out of the truck when necessary
