Location of work: Work in employer's home at Lindsay

 Caregiver to provide full-time care for his two children of 9 and 8 years old. The older child is autistic and requires care with all aspects of daily life.

 The specific duties will include:

Provide one-on-one support to older child with all aspects of daily living.

Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.

Support feeding and meal preparation to ensure proper nutrition.

Assist with communication support (e.g., non-verbal communication techniques, AAC devices).

Implement structured activities and engagement exercises

Ensure constant supervision and safety measures

Provide occasional care and support to younger child as needed.

Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate /Completion of high school.

Work experience required: 1 months to less than 7 months of relevant experience

Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and care.

Language required to do the work: English

First aid certification

 Terms of employment: 30+ hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed

 Wages: $22.19 per hour

 Other conditions: Live in/Live out is considered & is optional (this is NOT a condition of employment); staff accommodation available; optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (this is NOT a condition of employment)

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Relocation costs (if any) will be covered by employer.

Public transportation is not available.
