Job: Permanent/ Full Time

Language Requirement: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience 

Experience: minimum 2 to less than 3 years

Salary: C$ 36/ hour for 40 hours per week

Job Specific Skills: (NOC: 73110)

Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel; Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings; Install sheet metal flashings; Applying waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.  Installing and repairing metal roofs using both hands and power tools. Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to the roof and assist in estimating material required.

Additional Skills:

Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications; Estimate costs and materials; Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)  

Work Setting:  Residential; Commercial 

Work Site Environment: Outdoors; at heights; Noisy; Dusty
