Job Description
Position: Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade
Location: Toronto
Salary: 37.62.00hourly/32 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients in the IT sector.
- Identify and engage potential clients for IT solutions, including software, hardware, and services.
- Assess clients' technology needs, recommend appropriate IT solutions, and negotiate pricing and service agreements.
- Provide input into the development of IT products or services to ensure they align with client requirements.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of IT solutions.
- Estimate costs for IT product implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Prepare and manage sales contracts, service agreements, and maintain accurate client records.
- Provide post-sales support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for IT solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' offerings.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business goals and revenue targets.
- Offer training to clients on the usage and maintenance of IT products and services.
- May oversee and guide technical support teams or other sales specialists.
Experience and specialization
Languages
English
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience
- 2+ years in technical support roles.
Computer and technology knowledge
- Strong understanding of IT products, software solutions, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with SaaS, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise IT solutions.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Familiarity with troubleshooting IT systems, hardware, and software configurations.
- Knowledge of data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies is a plus.
