Job Type: full-time, permanent

Education: Bachelor degree in supply chain management, operations analysis, engineering or a related field from an accredited college/university • MBA, preferred

Experience: • 5 plus years of related work experience in the supply chain  field , logistics, or transportation. •

 

Responsibilities:

. • Lead key business development activities related to strategic sourcing and procurement strategy improvement including targeting key accounts, proposing services, and closing new business opportunities

Develop the execute the long and short-term supply chain strategy; update based on changing market conditions to optimize CTC’s processes.

 

 • Direct client engagements and work streams related to strategic sourcing planning and execution, including the development of current and future state procurement and sourcing processes • Execute process transformation, measurable improved operational performance, and organizational restructuring plans

• Lead as a supply chain subject matter expert internally and to clients in Sourcing & Procurement by regularly demonstrating thought leadership and creative approaches to solving client issues.

 • Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, conferences, and/or other thought leadership material.

 • Grow client relationships by building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and industry involvement and communicating our value proposition

. • Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work

. • Leverage subject matter expertise and prior consulting experience as it applies to our core supply chain solution offerings to lead the sales and delivery of major supply chain transformation initiatives that will include process improvement, implementation of enabling technology, and organizational redesign for our clients

. • Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and become a trusted business advisor.

 • Manage and minimize engagement delivery risk by proactively identifying issues and recommended courses of remediation to engagement teams. Supervisory Responsibilities:

 • Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review, and client management.

 • Manage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and assess performance.

  Required experience and education

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations analysis, engineering or a related field from an accredited college/university • MBA, preferred

• 5 plus years of related work experience in the supply chain  field. •

 • Proven track record with meeting and/or exceeding business development targets required. • Multiple instances of client project delivery experience in at least 3 of these areas:

 • Experience in client marketing and successfully managing multiple client pursuits and proposal efforts, preferred

 • Experience with project management, change management, stakeholder management, gap analysis, process design, workflow analysis, organization design and development, lean concepts, documentation and testing of new business capabilities and tools, business cases and identification and reporting of opportunities, preferred

 • Certifications relevant to the supply chain , such as APICS, CSCMP, or others, preferred

• Ability to travel 20%-30% on average, as needed
