Job Title: Caregiver for Elderly Woman

Location: Edmonton 
Salary: $20 CAD per hour
Job Type: Full-Time 

Job Description:

Pandher Residence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personal care and support to an elderly woman in a safe and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensuring comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Administer medications as per instructions
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if required
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
• Monitor health and report any concerns to the family or healthcare professionals
• Accompany the client to appointments, if needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal support worker (PSW), or in a similar role
• Certification in caregiving, PSW, or healthcare-related training (preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
• A valid driver’s license (preferred but not mandatory)
