Live-in Caregiver

Job description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for adults and those in need of assistance. This role requires a blend of practical caregiving skills and emotional support to ensure the well-being of clients.

Skills requirements: 

Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, able to handle up to 9kg (20 lbs) ,  practical caregiving skills.

Duties:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
• Shop for food, groceries and household supplies.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and fabric household goods.
• Provide emotional support to adults.

• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding
• Repetitive tasks

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Salary: $ 20.34 per hours, minimum for 30 hours per weeks and bonus.
