Immigration Management ‘Si-Won’ is a consulting agency providing services in education, marketing, immigration, recruiting, and accounting. Currently, we are looking for a Web Developer to join our team.
Position: Web Developer
Wage: $37.44 - $38.44 (Depending on working experience)
Working hours: 30 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay + Five Paid Sick days per year
Work Location: #300 – 1111 Melville Street, Vancouver BC V6E 3V6
Duties:
Establish and implement procedures for regular website updates and revisions to keep content and features relevant and functional;
Continuously monitor and maintain the performance and functionality of websites to ensure a seamless user experience;
Develop, write, update, integrate, and test code for websites and web application interfaces to ensure optimal functionality and performance;
Research and assess various interactive media software tools to enhance website features and usability;
Perform testing and data analysis to assess quality, security, and user interface experiences, identifying areas that need improvements;
Collaborate with designer or relevant team members to contribute to the architecture and design of websites, aligning with project goals and user needs if needed;
Qualification:
A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer programming, Web development or software engineering or completion of a college program in computer science or related field is usually required;
At least 1 year of experience as a computer programmer is usually required;
Problem solving skills and detail oriented;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Working knowledge of English.
