Job Title:  Restaurant Manager              

Job Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. (On site only)                          

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Shift Work: Mornings, Days, Evenings, Late Evenings, Weekends, Flexibility Required.

Terms of employment: Permanent Full-Time (30-35 hrs/week).

Period of employment: 3 years

Job Description: Restaurant Manager

Offered Wage /Salary: $34.50/hr - $40/hr

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to every guest while driving food quality and maintaining  excellent customer service throughout the establishment. Your strong leadership and customer service skills will be essential in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the success of the restaurant.

Main duties& skills:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all restaurant operations, including staff management, customer engagement, and financial performance (budget, revenues and expenses).
  • Determine the types of services offered and implement operational procedures to ensure high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, supervisor(s), shift manager(s), kitchen manager(s) and set their work schedules and monitor performance.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize resources and maximize profitability.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, as well as with clients for catering and facility use for events.
  • Interact with the corporate office to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all government regulations are followed such as health and safety, etc.
  • Implement strategies to enhance profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team and Front of House (FOH) team to develop and refine menu offerings that align with customer preferences and business goals.

Experience Required:
