Construction Laborer

Citywide Enterprises Ltd. is looking for 2 individuals for the position of construction labourers on full time and permanent basis. Corporate Office address: 7113 – 196 Street, Surrey BC, V4N 5Z6.

Positions: 2

Salary: $23.50

Hours: 30 hr/week

Job duties:

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades required at construction sites.

Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete.

Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.

Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers, and glazers in construction.

Use a rake and a shovel, level the earth to the desired fineness.

Use prying bars and other tools to help destroy buildings, and organise, clean, and pile the wreckage.

Use rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other tools, clear the building site of rubble and other rubbish.

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps

Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed

Employment Requirements:

Some experience as a construction laborer is an asset.
