General Foreman, Construction (NOC 72013)

Wage: $42.44 per hour (permanent, full-time position – 40 hours /week)

 Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Vancouver Area and in British Columbia

Specific Skills:

• Supervise construction workers and projects, including recommendations on hiring and promotions
• Coordinate and schedule activities of skilled trades in form carpentry, concrete and cement finishing
• Responsible for training and ensuring all employees follow safety procedures and company policies
• Ensure sufficient materials are on job sites and requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as required
• Resolve work problems and propose solutions
• Prepare and submit work reports
• Ability to supervise a crew of 5-10 people

Job Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in construction trades

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
