Job Description:

• Drive and operate articulated truck to transport goods and materials.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Willing to travel for extended periods
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan travel schedules and routes.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect the tires. Lights brakes and other equipment, perform brake adjustments.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Communicate with the dispatcher, other drivers, and customers.
• May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school education.
• Experience is an asset, however on the job training will be provided.
