Employer: Yaru Sushi Inc. o/a Whistler Samurai Bowl

Working Location: #101-2011 Innsbruck Drive, Whistler, BC V0N 1B2

Working Conditions:

• Permanent, Full-time
• Wage: $30~$35 per hour (depends on experience)
• Working hours: 30~40 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Coordinate the kitchen’s daily activities and assign tasks to the kitchen staff.
• In charge of daily kitchen operations considering any special occasions, events, reservations and business trends.
• Plan, develop, and create new menus.
• Prepare and cook dishes and/or specialty foods.
• Order ingredients/supplies and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Check regularly that the equipment and work areas are kept spotless.
• Ensure food meets quality standards.
• Participate in plan meetings for staffing, new/seasonal menus and promotions etc., if necessary.
• Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of cooking experience
• Must be available to work holidays and at least one day on weekend
• Completion of high school
• Language: English
