Wage: $22 / per hourly / 35 hours per Week

About Our Family:
We are a busy family of four in Markham, Toronto, seeking a dedicated and energetic caregiver to help manage our household and support our children’s daily activities. With both parents working full-time, we need someone reliable to provide care and assistance for our two children, aged 10 and 8, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare: Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring the children’s safety and punctuality. Support them during extracurricular activities, including football, art, piano, scouts, swimming, taekwondo, and volleyball.

• Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy and delicious Cantonese meals that align with the family’s dietary preferences.

• Emotional Support: Communicate effectively with the children, especially during challenging moments, and provide emotional support to help them navigate their developmental stages.

• Household Management: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain an organized and tidy home environment.

• Language Support: Speak Cantonese fluently to facilitate effective communication with the children and maintain the family’s linguistic and cultural practices.

• Active Engagement: Participate in physical activities and games with the children, ensuring they stay active and enjoy their extracurricular routines.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Cantonese (spoken).

• Experience in childcare and household management.

• Ability to cook Cantonese cuisine.

• Energetic and physically active to engage with children in sports and activities.

• Reliable, patient, and able to provide emotional support to children.

• First Aid & CPR/AED Certificate

• Valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory.

Language requirement:

• Proficiency in Cantonese

• English required.
