Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Location: 7218 188 Street, Suite 5, Surrey, BC V4N 6W3

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an office environment, admin, organizing or other related fields
  • Minimum education has to be college ceritificate or diploma
  • at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Working independently and self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $ 35 per hour

  • 4% vacation pay will be paid each payday on a bi-weekly basis
  • 1.5 times the normal rate as per provincial regulations.
