Nail Salon Manager

 

1997 Nail Bar is looking for a talented and experienced Nail Salon Manager to fill a full-time role within our vibrant team, at 66-384 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2K2. The position is responsible for supervising daily operations of the nail salon. The candidate is required to work approximately 35-40 hours per week. The qualified candidate will have at least two years of experience in customer service and administrative assistant. The qualified candidate must be able to communicate in English language.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, organize, and manage appointments and employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels, especially during peak hours.

  • Recruit, educate, and supervise staffs

  • Set up or enforce guidelines and protocols for staffs

  • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and address any issues related to job performance or client satisfaction

  • Oversee the quality of customer service, ensuring clients receive excellent treatments and experiences

  • Develop strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat visits and referrals

  • Solicit feedback from clients on services and overall experience, and use it to improve the salon’s operations

  • Ensure the salon has the necessary supplies and products (nail polishes, tools, lotions, etc.)

  • Order stock, track usage, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and shortages

  • Manage the salon’s social media accounts, promote services, and engage with customers online

  • Maintain an up-to-date website or booking platform.

  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring that the salon remains financially healthy

  • Conduct financial analyses, including cost estimation and budgeting

  • Track expenses and sales

  • Oversee cash flow, payments, and point-of-sale systems

  • Oversee the cleanliness and overall organization of the salon, ensuring it meets health and safety standards, and adhering to sanitation protocols

  • Ensure the salon follows the Ontario Health and Safety standards, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment, as well as safe practices for nail care and client safety

 

Other requirements:

  • College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least two years of experience in customer services and administrative assistant

  • Accounting Knowledge and Marketing Experience are preferable

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

  • Able to adapt quickly to fast-paced environment

 

Compensation:

  • Salary starting at $36 per hour.

  • Statutory holiday pay, vacation pay.
