Valemount Vacation Inn is one of the largest hotels in Valemount, BC. With 71 fully renovated rooms, our hotel stands ready to meet the needs of modern business and leisure travelers.
We are looking for 1-2 housekeeping room attendants to join our team.
Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: No experience required, we will train
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding
Personal suitability: Dependability, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player
Job Duties:
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors,
- Dust furniture,
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture,
- Make beds and change sheets,
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries,
- Stock linen closet,
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances,
- Clean and disinfect elevators,
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items,
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers,
- Clean changing rooms and showers.
Terms of employment: Seasonal position
Salary: $19.00/hour
Benefits: Relocation costs covered by the employer
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
