Ucluelet Petro Canada Ltd is looking for a candidate for the Diesel mechanic position to start as soon as possible. We are located at 2040 Peninsula Road, Ucluelet, BC, V0R 3A0.

Diesel mechanic-NOC 72401

Full time, permanent position

1 vacancy, 30 hours per week

Work location, same as company address shown above

The job duties on this position will be:

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Service attachments and working tools
• Verify and repair emission control systems

Requirement:

Completion of high school is required

2 years of related work experience is required

English language

What we offer:

$35.50-$37.50 per hour
