Wage:

 

-          $28.50 per hour

-          Employees will be paid overtime at a rate of 1½ times their regular pay for any hours worked beyond forty-four (44) hours in a week.

 

Job Tittle – CNC Machinist (NOC 72100)

 

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out countertops
  • Set up, operate and maintain a countertop cutting CNC machine to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations
  • Verify dimensions of countertops for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
  • Set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.

Education and Experience

-          Completion of secondary school is usually required.

-          One - two years of experience as a machinist, machining tool operator may be required for machining and tooling inspectors.
