Salary: $34.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Providing administrative support to various departments and teams within the company, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
  • Assisting with HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
  • Assisting with budget preparation, expense tracking, and processing invoices and reimbursements.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for employees, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintaining and organizing company documents, contracts, and records in a secure and accessible manner.
  • Facilitating communication within the company by distributing memos, emails, and announcements as needed.
  • Assisting with data protection measures and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handling employee inquiries, and grievances, and providing general support to promote a positive work environment.
  • Assisting with regulatory compliance related to administrative matters.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • Having significant work experience of 2 to 3 years in administrative support is a crucial requirement for this job.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for an administrative officer to interact effectively with employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities are crucial to managing tasks, handling paperwork, and maintaining efficient office operations.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email systems, and other relevant applications is typically required.
  • One needs to be adept at resolving challenges, making decisions, and finding solutions to various issues that may arise in the office.
