Cleaning Supervisor (NOC 62024)

Wage:  $34.07 per hour (full-time position, 40 hours per week)

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial, specialized cleaners and janitors
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Prepare work schedule, assign location of work and coordinate activities
• Assist in the preparation of our budget, estimate costs and keep records
• Ensure all cleaning staff are well trained and informed on special cleaning requests and demands from clients
• Preform cleaning duties if and when required

Job Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or business management experience required
• Able to manage a team efficiently
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Thorough understanding of cleaning procedures and safety regulations
• Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends

Location of Work: Various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area
