Position: drywall installer

Position Available: 03

Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)

Wage: $28.50 per hour (40 hours per week)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations as per company’s contract.

Job Duties:

• Study blueprints and diagrams to determine the method of installation and tool requirements.

• Assembles and installs metal framing and ceiling grids, doorways

• Mark cutting lines on material, using Chalk Line, pencil.

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets using hand tools and portable power tools

• Sanding, trimming excess compound, rough edges of wallboard

• Smoothing the rough surfaces by coating them with desired material

• Cut fixtures or border tiles to size, using appropriate tools, and insert them into surrounding frameworks.

• Installs blanket insulation between studs and tacks plastic moisture barrier over insulation.

• Seal joints between ceiling tiles and walls.

   

Job Requirements:

Education: High School

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English
