You will be responsible for the following duties:

Production Supervisor - CNC Machining (NOC 92024) TEER 2

 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all manufacturing operations and personnel
  • CNC production schedules and order tracking
  • Collaborate with engineering for production methods development (R&D pertaining to high precision plastic components)
  • Resolve manufacturing problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Inventory control of raw material and finished goods
  • Raw Material requisitioning to maintain inventory based on production orders.
  • CNC Tooling requisitioning to maintain inventory based on production orders.
  • Develop CNC programs G-Code (Fanuc control).
  • CNC machine tooling and set-up and program testing.
  • CNC operation and production reporting
  • 1st level Production Quality Control (during production runs).
  • Oversee final production Quality Control (by others)
  • Oversee shop operations including supplies, shipping and receiving
  • Training workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Responsible for safety in production area

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: 3-year College level CNC technician diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Language: English (spoken and written)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with high-precision CNC machining techniques specific for plastics including Teflon, UHMW Polyethylene, Acetal

Specific Skills

  • 2 years experience with operating Hyundai KIT0250 CNC Lathe
  • 2 years experience with QC measuring tools for small, complex parts
  • Experience with Autocad 2D
  • 3 years experience with G-Code CNC programming
