Job Duties:
1. Food Preparation and Customer Service:
Prepare fresh produce by washing, peeling, and chopping as needed for various dishes, salads, and garnishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Utilize tools such as knives, peelers, slicers, and food processors to prepare a variety of food items according to kitchen standards.
Accurately measure and portion food items, wrapping and packaging them for dine-in service or take-out orders.
Assemble and package customer take-out orders with the correct items, ensuring they are presented attractively and labeled correctly.
Greet and take orders from customers when needed, ensuring accuracy and a friendly experience.
2. Cleaning and Sanitation:
Load, operate, and unload commercial dishwashers, ensuring all dishware, glassware, and flatware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately.
Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment, including wiping down counters, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
Remove used dishes, utensils, and trays from tables, and sanitize tables and chairs promptly to prepare for new customers.
Regularly collect and dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables, replacing trash bags and ensuring garbage areas are clean.
Maintain clean and safe floors throughout the kitchen and dining areas, sweeping and mopping regularly, and polishing as needed.
3. Maintenance and Organization:
Monitor and restock condiment dispensers, napkins, and other supplies to ensure they are available to guests at all times.
Accept deliveries, verify the accuracy of orders, and store items properly to maintain freshness and quality.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2. Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an asset but not required.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
