Drywall Installer (NOC 73102)

Wage:  $41.17 to $51.46 per hour (full-time position) based on experience + Union benefits

Location of Work:  Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Job Description:

-      Measure, cut and install drywall for residential and commercial establishments

-      Affix drywall by using secure metal or wooden studs or joists

-      Cover joints and fill nails, holes and cracks with drywall compound

-      Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints

-      Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position using hand tools, portable power tools or adhesive

-      Cut opening into board for electrical outlets, windows, vents, or fixtures using cutting tools

-      Read blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation

Job Requirements:  2-3 years of experience
