Job Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Generate and maintain general ledgers and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Record journal entries, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances.
- Prepare compilations for engagements and T2 corporate income tax returns.
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, along with other corporate tax-related documentation.
- Prepare and deliver detailed statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
Language of Work: English
Wage: $29.75 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours per week
Education: a degree in accounting or business is necessary
Experience: a minimum of three years of experience working in a public accounting firm, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, Caseware and Profile.
