Child Caregiver – Private Home

Job Summary:

-       Private household in Calgary, AB is looking for a full-time Child Caregiver – Private Home.

-       The employee may be required to be flexible to cover shifts. Overtime may be required.

-       Salary: $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

-       Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

-       Work Location: Must work in employer's home: 215 Sienna Park Terrace, Calgary AB, T3H 4N1.

Job Duties:

-       Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

-       Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

-       Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

-       Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

-       Prepare and serve nutritious meals

-       Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants

-       Supervise and care for children

-       Tend to emotional well-being of children

-       When necessary, administer first-aid or CPR to children

Requirements:

-       Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

-       Previous Experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be

an asset.

-       First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset.

-       Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
