We are currently searching for two experienced Insulators.

 

Work Location:

Various sites in the GTA

 

Duties:

 

  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retard materials
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
  • Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specification

 

You will be required to train apprentices.

 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive insulation work experience

 

Area of specialization:

  • Fire Stopping and fireproofing

 

Own Tools/Equipment:

Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, gloves, masks

 

Work Site Environment:

noisy, dusty and outdoors

 

Work Setting:

construction and residential

 

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

 

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday 

The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm

 

Language of work:

English

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of work experience with insulation

 

Credentials:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Driver’s licence
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

 

Salary:

CAD$ 41.17 per hour according to the Local 675
