Window Installer

Crystal Glass Canada Ltd. is currently hiring 1 full-time Window Installer to work at their Burnaby, BC location for their growing team. The candidate must be active, independent, and eager to learn.

Position Details:

Position: Window Installer

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Number of Positions: 1

Term of Employment: Full time; Permanent

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Work locations(s): Burnaby, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Job duties: 

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures for Windows and other glass installations.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install Windows, glass, and other prefabricated products as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Repair and service windows and other supporting structures and make replacements if required.

 Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
