Canada Education Technology College is looking for a software engineer to join our team.

 

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: 5 years or more

Computer and technology knowledge: Software development

Personal suitability: Accurate, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Organized, Analytical

Job Duties:

  • Collect and document user’s requirements,
  • Coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems,
  • Define system functionality,
  • Develop process and network models to optimize architectures,
  • Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes,
  • Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs,
  • Plan every step of the integration of a computer-based system,
  • Prepare plan to maintain software,
  • Usability testing,
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls,
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.

 

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Salary: $53.84/hour

Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan.

Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
