Sushi Nami Royale Downtown is a Japanese Sushi restaurant in Halifax, NS. When it comes to Sushi there is no better place in Halifax than Sushi Nami Royale! The best thing about Sushi Nami Royale is that there are 4 great convenient locations, no matter where you are in town there’s a spot nearby! The food is always quick, tasty and more importantly fresh. After a successful 12 years, Sushi Nami Royale strives to make its brand the Nation’s favorite finest Japanese Sushi and best Ramen dining experience with a customer-first business philosophy. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Cook to join us. We expect the team member to be clean, hardworking, dedicated, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform tasks assigned by head Cook
- Prepare and cook meals for patrons as instructed by head Cook
- Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
- Prepare workstations for cooking.
- Prepare and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Arrange food and ensure appealing presentation.
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Requirements:

- High school diploma is required.

- Experience an asset.
