Tasks
Guard armoured cars
Arrange for the repair of broken machines
Assist clients/guests with special needs
Deal with public
Maintain work areas
May be required to appear in court as witness
Perform services specific to the establishments in which their occupations are found
Produce reports
Work with a guard dog
Check age identification of patrons
Conduct investigations to locate missing persons
Conduct polygraph tests (integrity surveys)
Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities
Operate security control room equipment
Patrol assigned areas
Perform security checks of passengers and luggage
Pick up and deliver cash and valuables
Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.
