Concrete Truck Driver - Construction (NOC 73300)

Wage:  $33.00 per hour + benefits according to UNION collective agreement (full-time position)

 Location of Work:  Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

• Operate and drive cement trucks to transport concrete to job sites
• Maneuver cement truck into loading position for filling and unloading at customer job sites
• Assemble chutes and operate levers to release concrete as per customer request
• Clean the ready-mix truck and mixer, both inside and out, following delivery of concrete to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck surfaces
• Operate equipment, such as truck mixer controls, mobile phones, and global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other truck drivers
• Ensure that the unit meets all safety guidelines at all times

Job Requirements:

• Class D Licence
• Air Brake endorsement (Z)
• Experience as a truck driver preferred
• Time management skills
• Preventive maintenance ability
